What the *!^? was that!!!! LOL All good ghost hunters say that!!! |
So.....I am sooooo excited to write this weeks post!!! Just got back from Atlanta (thank goodness... we flew in the day AFTER they had that ice storm that shut down the city) and we found a cemetery purely by accident that I have to say was one of the most ACTIVE cemeteries I have ever visited!!!
Deak (my boyfriend) and I had scheduled to go on a ghost tour in Roswell, GA but because of the weather it was cancelled.(Little did we know this was a good thing!) There was still a lot of snow and ice on the ground but Deak and I decided to go eat and just check out Roswell since neither of us had been there before. While we were driving around we found this AMAZING cemetery kinda on the outside of the square called Presbyterian Church Cemetery. It was awesome!!!
The Presbyterian Cemetery has over 200 graves in it many who were in the Civil War. Among these are a couple that was one of Roswell's most outstanding citizen's.....
Archibald Smith and his wife Anne Margaret McGill Smith. After researching the cemetery on my Ipad we couldn't stand it.....we JUST HAD TO GO IN!!!! YES!!! We were freezing.....and I could barely hold the recorder for my hands shaking!
We read that the cemetery was haunted and people had seen red glowing balls, mist, faces......you name it......and it didn't disappoint! From the minute we
Look at THIS orb close.... |
Do you see what I see? |
By chance, the first graves we came up to was that of Archibald and his wife Anne. There was sooooo much activity around their graves!!! I truly felt like THEY followed us around the whole night! Maybe....just to make sure we weren't going to do anything to the cemetery or maybe.......they just wanted company.....whatever the reason, you can see from the pictures below, that it looks like they did! The first person to be buried here was back in 1840 so the cemetery is very old and to me, some of the older headstones are more beautiful than the ones now. Walking around here was right up my alley looking at all the old headstones and reading about the people buried there.
Anyway, check out the pictures below and I think you will see WHY I LOVED THIS PLACE!!!!
I am still going through EVP's and hope to post those soon. So, if you are ever up in Roswell, GA DO NOT pass this one by!
Archibald Smith and Anne's graves. |
This was hanging on the fence around their graves. Very Very Creepy!!! |
It was a mask made of feathers!!! For some reason I just couldn't get over this....I just thought it was one of the strangest things I have ever seen left in a cemetery. |
Archibald and Anne following us??? |
When I would take a picture of Deak I would ask the spirits to go stand by him. |
One of my FAVORITES!!! I believe this is a Ecto-mist.( fog looking stuff in the upper left corner.) A Ecto-mist is a spirit trying to manifest themselves. |
A close up of the Ecto-mist. |
hhhuuummm Archibald and Anne keeping an eye on Deak. |
Again, asking spirits to go stand by Deak so they could be in the picture. |
Is this someone trying to "photo bomb" my picture?lol (you can plainly see that the orb has now moved in front of Deak from photo A. |
Who is this standing by Deak?(right shoulder Photo A) |
This is probably my NEW FAVORITE PHOTO!!! I have caught all different colored orbs BUT NEVER one like this!! A VERY BRIGHT PINK ORB!! |
I just think this is the coolest picture. A little closer of the beautiful orb. |
Is this someone with Archibald and Anne? (a close up of the picture to the right) |
Here is the same orb in motion. This was taken back to back with the one above. |
To my surprise another PINK orb! Or is the same one trying to get my attention? |
Close up of the second Pink orb. |
And the next you don't....... |
One minute you see it.... |
See I knew we weren't alone. |
I just thought this turned out kinda cool. That's all. |
Man it's cold out here!!! Anyone else cold??? |
I'm going to take that as a "YES". |
