Again, an orb keeps showing up on this end of the Menger
So, here are some photo's that I took last summer at the Menger Hotel in San Antonio, Tx. I LOVE THIS PLACE!!!! I come here everytime I'm in San Antonio. When I was first trying to get a Certification in the Paranormal I did my research paper here. I had sooooo many experiences here. I thought I would share a couple of them with you. I have talked about the Menger before but it is such a wonderful place I wanted to talk about it again.
One of the first things I want to tell you guys about is... the above picture of the hallway. I had gotten out by myself around midnight to start my investigation. I had informed the manager of the hotel that I was doing a research paper and he was very nice and said go anywhere I wanted. I believe it was on the third floor and I was walking around with an EMF meter taking notes. I was all alone on one of the top floors or should I say in the hallway. I was walking down the hall with my head down looking at the EMF meter and I could hear someone coming up from behind me. The footsteps were so loud and clear that I just stepped over to the side of the hall and still with my head down and trying to put my meter down to my side(as I didn't want to cause any suspicion) and said out loud "oh excuse me" TOTALLY expecting to see someone pass by me. The footsteps had gotten so loud coming up from behind me and then they stopped! I looked up and there was no one there! Are you kidding me???? No way! How could there not be ANYONE there??? The footsteps were so clear...I just couldn't believe it! I never for one minute doubted that someone( a real person) was walking up behind me...but I guess I was wrong.
The same night, after I heard the footsteps, I decided to go outside to the courtyard. How beautiful and peaceful this place is! I was walking around outside and later got one of the BEST Photo's I have ever gotten of a gentleman's face in the courtyard. I submitted it with my research paper and got and A+! lol If you get a chance, you HAVE to go check the Menger out. And maybe send the night.
Ok....back to my story. After spending about an hour out in the courtyard, it was late, around 2:00am by now and time to call it a night. I went inside to go up to my room. The elevators at the Menger are the ol' timey kind that has a big giant needle at the top that shows it going up and down. I was standing in the lobby all alone and saw that the elevator was going UP to the top floor as I could see the needle going up. And the way this elevator works is once it is at the top floor and I believe it has 5 or more...then you watch it come back down as you see the needle coming down and stopping on each of the floors. Well, I was standing in front of the elevator watching it go up and I was sooooo tired and I said out loud to myself "oh man! Now I'm going to have to wait until it comes all the way back down and I am so tired....." then ALL OF THE SUDDEN the elevator door OPENED!!!!!!!!!!!!! NO WAY!!!!!! I just stood there and watched it go to the top floor....there is NO WAY this elevator could have came back down and the door just open automatically! I stood there with my mouth wide open....It was funny because I started looking around to see if anyone else SAW THAT!!!! And of course, there was no one around but me. So, even though it scared me....I couldn't help but think...ok...someone opened the elevator for me so I don't have to wait YOU have to get in! So I took little baby steps...but finally walked inside. Once inside I just stood there. Never moving my head but my eyes where looking all around. I just push the button for my floor and said "thank you"....and I think I held my breath until that elevator door opened! Once it opened I stepped and looked back and said "thank you again" and went to my room. I will never forget this. It was wayyyyy cool.
This is not a scary place. It really seems like you get a since of relaxation and the people who came here, really enjoyed their stay....so much.... I guess some guest decided not to leave. :)
