So one of my followers suggested that I do an investigation at a cemetery called Dry Creek Cemetery near Terrell, Tx. I have not done any investigations in that area so I am excited to give it a try. The more I read about this cemetery, the more intrigued I am about it. There are all kinds of EVP recordings, photos and even a reported portal in the corner of the cemetery. How scary is that? But also how cool!
Paula(one of my favorite followers and the one who suggested this place) had her own experience here. She said her and her husband went to Dry Creek and just really had creepy feelings. And I believe you HAVE to pay attention to your "feelings". She said they found themselves having a strong creepy feeling and they found themselves standing in front of a tombstone with the name William on it. One of the stories is about a spirit some call Billy the Cowboy. Seems he is very active. I couldn't really find out anything about Billy the Cowboy but doesn't mean he's not there.
Below I have posted a couple of things I found out about Dry Creek Cemetery. I hope to do an investigation in the next couple of weeks.
Named for a nearby ravine, this burial ground originally served the community of Turner's Point. Located on the stage road between Shreveport, Louisiana, and Dallas, the settlement was established by Elisha Turner in 1845. In the 1870s the town was moved to a new location (1.5 miles southeast) and renamed Poetry. The earliest marked grave at this site is that of Samuel Key (1840-1871). Now closed for burials, the cemetery has 279 marked graves bearing names of the English, Scottish, Irish, and Welsh pioneer settlers of the area.
Below is a youtube video that is pretty cool. Check it out.
Hi Becky!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading this blog! Last night, three friends and I ventured into Dry Creek cemetery. It was my first time going. My friend, who is a medium and has been able to see and communicate with spirits since a young child, led us on our journey into the graveyard. It was her fifth time in the cemetery. We snapped photos, and there were hundreds of orbs everywhere! There is definitely some kind of dark presence in that graveyard. She had a run-in with a very dark, demonic entity while we were there. He knew her by name. I did not see this entity. She was wearing a blessed gemini necklace, which was torn from her neck. We did not stay there more than 20 minutes. There is DEFINITELY a portal in the corner of the cemetery. Something very dark, more than likely some kind of satanic / human sacrifice ritual was done there in the past. You can definitely sense that some terrible things have happened in that cemetery. I would absolutely love to show you the pictures we took! We also caught something very strange in one of our photos, and it was not an orb!
Oh wow!!! I am planning a trip back there very soon. Maybe we could met up and you can join us if you like. I would love to see your pictures. Please email them and I'll take a look at them. My email is Becksghosthunters@yahoo.com. It is a creepy cemetery not doubt! I'll have to send you some of the additional photos we took. I do believe there is portal in that cemetery for sure! And thank you so much for reading my blog. I love writing about my experiences and also other peoples personal experiences. I love hearing from readers!!!! I have been up for over 24 hours trying to deal with my latest venture there with two of my very close VERY sensitive friends, myself included.
